Getting to Puglia Imperiale
The municipalities of the Puglia Imperiale are well connected by a modern road-net. For those coming from the north, the A14 Highway is the fastest way: from there you can reach directly Canosa, Andria, Barletta and Trani; the alternative is the SS 16 bis, that runs parallel along the Adriatic coast, and from which you can easily get to the Saline municipalities and those along the coast towards Bari. For those coming from the west, instead, it is better to get the A16 Highway, which, in Canosa, joins the A14. The SS 98, instead, connects the inner municipalities: Canosa, Andria and Corato; on this road you will find a branch point for the SS97 towards Minervino and Spinazzola. All towns are reachable by train, by main and secondary lines. The main rail lines run all along the Adriatic stretch. The Airports are: Bari-Palese and Foggia.
